![]() Three wires will enter the panel from the meter H-H-N. Provided this is the first panel after the meter that also includes the main disconnect. The fact that the neutrals and grounds are landed on the same bar indicates that this is a main breaker panel, if so then this panel needs the bonding screw installed just as Bob has described. Im sure someone who knows what they are doing can do it faster and prettier, but thought it looked good for a rookie.Just a few things to check to cover all your bases. Total time was 8 hours start to finish (not including the 35 min one way trip back to homedepot for the stuff i forgot.fail). But with a little finess, i was able to make it work. The only negative i would have to say, is that the 1/2" knockouts in the top seem too close together when working with the wire clamp fittings. I found that this box had a much better layout than the one i replaced, really easy to work in. Granted my old box was wired like this, i just wanted to make sure no corners were cut. So all of the grounds and neutral wires from the breakers go on the same bar. its grounded there and i have 3 wires comming into my house into my 200amp indoor panel. I have another 200amp breaker at the pole outside. However, after talking to the homedepot electronics guy, realized i didn't need it. I was worried about the panel not having a ground bar like others had mentioned initially. But im willing to try just about any project. My electrical back ground is non existant other than running a couple outlets in the house. The panel only had one space left and was mostly filled with tandem breakers.
